Work Schedule: Up to 10 to 19 hrs/week Monday-Saturday (up to 19 hrs/week during summer depending on need).

Job Description:

  • Data entry using catalogs, worksheets & sales orders.
  • Assist computer store customers with computer related purchases.
  • Print, sort & route reports. Receive packing list data and compare to purchase orders.
  • Print receiving documents and tags.
  • Assist computer buyers and staff with special projects as needed.
  • Post completed paperwork and match reports.
  • Assist in rotating, moving, and creating attractive merchandise displays.
  • Assist with cashiering as needed.


  • Demonstrated ability to work in a retail environment, including cashiering.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Macintosh and Windows computers, tablets, and peripherals; demonstrated interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent data entry, word processing, typing & 10-key skills.
  • Familiarity with Office software applications.
  • Prior experience in retail, merchandising, and creating displays preferred.
  • Must pay UC San Diego Student Services fees each quarter working.
  • Must be able to clear a background check.
